  • Exit 29 at Rt. 65 S to Sharpsburg, MD
  • 10 miles S to stop sign in Sharpsburg – Turn right onto Rt. 34 to Shepherdstown, WV
  • Cross bridge over Potomac River into WV (MD Rt. 34 becomes WV Rt. 480)
  • Just past Bavarian Inn, turn right onto Shepherd Grade Road
  • 1.7 miles to intersection – Left turn onto Scrabble Road
  • 1.5 miles – Left turn onto Turner Road (sign on right)
  • 1 mile to left turn into gravel drive of Freshwater Institute
